Spill Bund — Foam Sidewall Containment
Low-profile containment for drums, hoses, plant and equipment. Rolls up for transport, deploys quickly on site.
Typical Uses
- Short-term storage of drums and small containers
- Set-down area for liquids and drip-prone parts
- Decanting and transfer stations
- Containment for machinery and equipment on worksites
- Laydown for hydraulic hoses when not in use
Construction & Handling
Heavy-duty, UV-stabilised PVC base with memory-foam sidewalls approximately 100 mm high. Easy to clean and reuse. Custom fabrication available. Compact roll-up design for simple storage and transport.
Compliance
Supports rapid spill response and helps meet environmental obligations when used correctly.
Note: Foam-sidewall spill bund kits have been superseded by mini foam-wall modules in many setups; however made-to-measure bunds can still be supplied on request.
Silt Curtain — Floating Turbidity Control
Engineered for Australian conditions to control suspended sediment during marine and civil works.
Where They’re Used
- Dredging, piling, bridge and port works
- Rockwall and foreshore maintenance, reclamation
- Tailings dams, sediment ponds, high-efficiency basins
- Protecting inlets during maintenance
Class Guide
- Class 1: Low risk — lagoons, ponds, streams with little tide/wave/wind
- Class 2: Medium risk — rivers, calm harbours with moderate forces
- Class 3: High risk — open ocean, exposed harbours, river mouths with strong forces
Supply & Deployment
Standard 20 m modules supplied with skirts furled. Multiple sections pre-connected per pallet for immediate deployment. Pallets numbered in sequence for on-water joining.
Depth & Effectiveness
Skirt depth sized to disrupt flow and promote settling while keeping ~0.5 m off the seabed at low tide. Effectiveness depends on sediment load, curtain design, mooring layout and local hydrodynamics.
Install, Removal & Reuse
Professional installation recommended. Anchor system set first, tow furled curtains at ~2–3 knots, unfurl after anchoring. Reusable if inspected, pressure-washed, dried and stored correctly.
Technical Support
Hydraulics evaluation, anchoring advice and material options. Handles and hardware for rapid deployment. Skirt depths in 0.5 m increments. Custom heavy-duty builds for long-term exposure.
Floating Baffle Curtains
Custom barriers that direct water flow through lagoons, ponds and tanks to increase retention time and improve water quality.
Where They’re Used
- Wastewater treatment lagoons and tanks
- Settling ponds and tailings dams
- Municipal, mining and industrial sites
How They Work
Installed in snake-like paths so water follows a longer route from inlet to outlet. Acts like walls in the water to prevent short-circuiting and improve settling.
Build & Materials
- Engineered geomembrane skirts sized to pond depth and floor profile
- Closed-cell foam flotation (internal) or external bolt-on floats
- Continuous chain ballast for vertical stability
- Hardware specified for acidic or alkaline environments
Design & Options
Each system designed to suit pond shape, wind conditions and water pH. Optional windows/ports for enclosed tanks. Project lifespans up to 20 years. Mooring, anchoring systems and buoys available with technical drawings.
Key Outcomes
- Increased retention time for better treatment efficiency
- Reduced BOD and TSS to improve water quality
- Flexible, economical upgrade without draining existing ponds
Bags & Covers
Covers, carry bags and ground mats to protect equipment, keep kits service-ready and extend bunding life.
IBC & Bunded Pallet Covers
- Keeps rain out so sump capacity remains compliant
- Shields contents from light exposure; leaks directed into pallet sump
- Materials: UV-stabilised PVC in multiple weights (400/610/900 gsm) and colours, including clear panels
- Build options: sleeve or frame-mounted, with zips, velcro, tie-backs, windows, storage pockets
- Fitment: standard footprints for 2-drum, 4-drum, single and double IBCs, plus custom sizing
Spill Kit Covers
- Stops rainwater degrading absorbents in outdoor wheelie-bin spill kits
- Discourages general waste use — kits stay intact and ready
- Custom-fit with PVC weight/colour and closure options (elastic, velcro, sleeve)
- Optional printing or labels for quick identification
Carry Bags
- Purpose-built for portable bunds, spill kits, drain covers and boom
- Water-resistant or breathable panels, hanging points, multiple closures
- Lifting options for hand, forklift or crane handling
Ground Mats
- Underlay to protect bund bases from puncture and abrasion
- Non-woven polypropylene geotextile (~260 gsm), UV-resistant with reinforced edges
- Permeable — allows water to pass, won’t pool under the bund
- Custom sizes to suit site footprint and load
Ultra Flood Stopper
Sandless sandbags for fast, stable flood barriers. Packs flat, activates with fresh water, forms a durable wall.
Key Features
- Under 1 kg before activation; ~305 × 610 mm flat
- Fills and stabilises in about 2.5–3.5 minutes
- Passes 1 m drop tests; approximate filled height ~102 mm
- Filled weight ~13–14 kg; non-toxic, standard landfill disposal
Formats & Options
Bags and tubes in multiple lengths (including ~1.5 m and ~3 m tube options). Optional staging/activation pool: ~1.2 m × 1.2 m × 356 mm, ~525 L capacity.
Activation & Use
- Use fresh water only — do not activate with salt water
- Faster activation with higher water head; agitate briefly during fill
- Form straight or curved walls; wrap in plastic if road salt or seawater may contact barrier
- Not designed to be driven over when activated
Storage, Reuse & Cold Weather
Store sealed, cool and dry for long shelf life. Usable for up to ~3 months in place. Can be recharged by hosing if they lose height. In freezing conditions, pre-activate and avoid moving when frozen.
Flood Barrier — Modular Water Diversion
Australian-made modular flood barriers that deploy fast. Integrated ballasting uses incoming water to stabilise the barrier as levels rise.
How It Works
- Place sections where protection is needed and connect as required
- Water enters the barrier, expanding the structure to lock in place
- As flow increases, the barrier becomes more stable and resists overturning
- Anchor or brace where specified to prevent movement
Key Features
- Quick setup with no special tools
- Reusable design for multiple events
- Premium materials built for weather and chemical exposure
- Alternative to sandbags — no filling, hauling or stacking
- Custom sizes available to suit site layouts
Applications
Natural flood events, storm surge, worksite water diversion and emergency response.
